Originally from the Bismarck, North Dakota area, Rick Borr achieved a Bachelor of Science degree in Music (both instrumental and vocal) and began his professional career teaching High School Band and Choir for 5 years. He joined Johnny Green and, as a Greenman. toured from Canada to the Caribbean, New York to Las Vegas for 20 years. Among his many career highlights he particularly enjoyed performing at Woodstock’s 25th Anniversary, making multiple appearances at both the Festa Italiana in Milwaukee as well as the annual Sturgis Bike Rally. Rick joined Westside in 2010, and later became the group's Music Director -- a position he enjoys to this day.
He is a three-time inductee into the Mid America Music Hall of Fame -- first as a Greenman, next as a member of Westside, and in 2022 he received the Lifetime Achievement Award!

Alex Zackary is a man of many talents covering bass, vocals, and choreography with the group. He is also a music producer and sound engineer working on his 2nd album. The son of singer/songwriter James Zackary, Alex began performing publicly with his father at age 14.
Alex's ambition and passion for music is apparent: he has written numerous songs -- several released on all major streaming platforms. Alex is “super excited to come on board with the Disco kings" where his many talents will be showcased with many others of his caliber!

Gregory Cauthen brings an impressive resume of skills, experience and accomplishments to the Disco Kingz lineup! Not to mention he's just a really nice guy! Originally from Rock Island, Illinois,, Greg moved to Minneapolis in 1981. He joined the “Westside Band” (founded by Junior Trejo, - founder of Disco Kingz!) in 1981. That group went to Star Search in L.A. in 1986 where Greg found a groove. His career quickly accelerated as he worked with members' of Parliament records' Funkadelic and performed on the Aresnio Hall show with with Sheena Easton and Rick Dees.
Greg is an accomplished composer and producer. He has written songs for David Black, Special Generation and Troop, and he co-wrote with Aaron Hall the Platinum hit song “I Miss You”. Greg joined national artist Con Funk Shun and went to Japan touring, playing keyboards, and performed several years with MC Hammer.
Says, Greg, "I am honored to be a part of Disco Kingz and look forward to working with many talented musicians." Disco Kingz is glad to have you on board, Greg!
